Twenty-seven years
ago, I got the
opportunity to work
in this Directorate.
To assume the
responsibility of
the Director is like
a home-coming for
me. This
resposibility is in
addition to my
duties in P.G.
Department of
Commerce. I believe in the
words of Dr. A.
P. J. Abdul Kalam,
which he spoke in
the first
convocation ceremony
of the Ravenshaw
University, “Aim
big in life, acquire
knowledge, work
hard, defeat your
problems and
succeed”. I also
believe that “we
can achieve
excellence in life
if we reduce the gap
between our
potential and our
performance”. |
